ABOUT TRANSPARENT DECISION MAKING
When we think about the bias that enters into decision-making, it is easy to look to hiring decisions as the scapegoat of all our corporate biases. But what if we could examine all of our decisions with an equity lens and truly challenge our biases at each stage in the decision-making process?
In this workshop, you will come to understand the prevalence of bias in your everyday workspace and practice a 4-step framework to address decision-making from a place that allows for the increased transparency that thrives in inclusive work cultures.
foundations of bias and own their own biases and triggers
where bias enters decision-making across their role and those of others (hint: it’s not just in hiring)
a 4-part framework for removing bias in different business use cases
new processes that can be applied to their current responsibilities and commit to the next steps to empower a more transparent management
I’m always skeptical of these trainings but this one provided actual scenarios we deal with and allowed me to think critically about how I make decisions and how I can improve my process.
